Year Of The Rat is the newest release by Geezer Senior. On October 21st 2021 the band sat down with Brian & Angel of Let's Make A Show. They've never done an interview like this before.
Jack Psalmer, the frontman for Geezer Senior has been called the "psychedelic punk rock Dylan". Tim is the committed lead and rhythm main guitarist in the band. Steve plays bass guitar and is the band's minister. Angel is the youngest member and the drummer self described resident nerd tech archivist. Sap Defiler is the producer. Brian is the future manager of the band. PLACOBOW is the band's new sponsor.
The new album is whiskey and gun heavy and no doubt the seven inch will be released on reel-to-reel very soon. Older pre-pandemic songs also appear and Sap produced "that sound". Of course the pandemic became the biggest influence on the album and even on the title. Year Of The rat is year one and is also the first track on the album. Stories of shows on stage and behind the stage are discussed. Origin stories of songs from the new album are also explored. All this and more you can hear on tonight's Let's Make A Show.
