The Fucking Election Happened (Part 1)

11.10.14

It did, for real.

by Cory2qs

Hey, I'm Cory. I may tell you more about myself one of these days. For now I'd like to just thank Zack and Stacy for inviting me to write this blog on Wholesome, and for basically telling me I can write whatever the fuck I want (more on that later). Thanks guys... I hope to make you proud by being more crass and sarcastic than you could have possibly imagined.

So yeah, let's jump right in and talk about stuff that I dislike. Indeed... you may find that dislikes are a common running theme in this blog. I certainly have plenty of them. But I'm also not consciously planning on being negative, and especially not just for the sake of being so. I have no plan for this blog other than to say what's on my mind. Oh, and tangents will be a common theme too.

Anyway... dislikes. There's a point here, I promise. These are the things I dislike that everyone else on the planet seems to like: football, Lord of the Rings, getting blackout drunk, cilantro, sushi, Breaking Bad, Asian women... shit, am I allowed to say that? YES, yes I am! I can say whatever I fuck-well (new word I just invented) want, remember? I wonder how long it will take for Z & S to regret that. But no, for realz... I love love love love love all people, and ALL different kinds of people. Every kind of person that goddamn exists, ok?! I'm just talking... you know... sexualerifically. (that made it even worse, didn't it?)

Yeah, so I'm not very PC, but my point in mentioning those things is to show that I don't always agree with the majority. (There's a word o' the blog... 'majority', Remember that for later). That's something I suppose I'm proud of, but I also do not dislike things for the sake of disliking them. Besides... the things on that list don't really matter anyway. With the exception of drunkenness (in many cases), they are all pretty fucking trivial.

So... being someone who enjoys the idea of going against the grain, one would think that I would have at least some against-the-grain views on issues that really matter. And the thing is, yeah... I do, but not THAT many. And I'll tell you why that's significant... but I won't do that now because I'm pushing 40 and it's bedtime. And I'll tell you why that's sad... I don't even work tomorrow. Are most people off tomorrow for Veterans' Day? I don't know - my mind is warped from 12 years in state government (more on that later too).

Wow! All that and I still didn't arrive at my point yet. It's a pretty decent one too. In case you didn't crack the code yet (or read the headline of this post), yes... it involves the abomination that was Tuesday, November 4, but it involves lots of other stuff too. And I'm going to tie it all together in a pretty little bow for you. YOU, my loyal readers. All zero of you. Doesn't that excite the fuck out of you?!

My twisted mind has now been officially split open for the good of Internet and Country. God help us all... (to be continued)
